The Optical Group began providing buying group services to a small but select group of Canadian Opticians in January 1988.  Since that time, The Optical Group has grown and evolved into the second largest buying group in Canada.  We currently provide billing services to over 525 Optician and Optometric Members.

We pride ourselves in meeting our goal of providing Members and Suppliers with efficiencies in time and cost saving, in a friendly, helpful and supportive manor.

Company founder Grant Osborne, has been in the industry for 31 years, and has held many positions ranging from frame sales rep to product and operations manager to national sales manager.  Karen Ouellette, after 15 years in  banking, joined The Optical Group 9 years ago and is now our General Manager.  Stephanie Martin joined our staff 2 years ago as Admin Assisitant, bringing years of customer service experience.
